By the next morning Mark had already taken several smaller fish when something unusual appeared. A dark, deliberate shadow slid beneath the surface five feet away. Instantly he sensed something exceptional was coming.
It was the largest fish he had ever seen.
In over 25 years on the water he had witnessed many impressive specimens, but nothing matched this mass. Word spread fast, drawing curious bystanders and lifeguards. Tension climbed as one lifeguard shouted a warning urging caution.
